Ed
Kehe
1968-1984
The
man who started
it all. Ed Kehe
was a major force
in shaping local
and national
track history.
Many consider his
1966 White Plains
High School to
be the greatest
team in New York
State History (two
relays from that
team still hold
state records).

Carol
Coram
1985-1986
A
top runner
in a time in
which there
were few meets
sponsoring
women's events,
Carol was a
top-notch sprinter
and jumper.
During her
tenure the
Outstanding
Athlete Awards
were inaugurated.
The Women's
Triple Jump
was added,
as well as
the change
from 300 meters
to 400 meters
as the distance
for the intermediate
hurdles. |

Nick
Panaro
1987-2000
"The
Great Innovator",
Nick Panaro
brought many
new ideas to
the Games.
This former
distance runner
at Mount Vernon
High School
brought back
the 3200 Meter
Relay, while
also starting
the popular
Section 1 and
TriState Relays.
Nick issued
in the age
of computers
at Loucks.
Also added
under Nick's
watch was the women's
pole vault
('99). Nick, the Athletic Director at
White Plains High School,
remains active
at the meet
as the Special
Assistant to
the Meet Director,
Advisor to
the Meet Director
and Assistant
Clerk. |

Fred
Singleton
2001-present
In 1969
while a member
of Mt Vernon High
School's highly
acclaimed track
program, Fred ran
on a winning relay
at Loucks. A
member of the first
New York State
team to win the
Loucks team title
(1970), Fred jokes
that he has a Loucks
record that will
never be broken
(the 180 Low hurdles). By
adding the Distance
Medley Relay on
Thursday, during
Fred's years as
meet director the
Loucks Games has
grown to three
days. There has
also been the addition
of the women's
steeplechase, the
pentathlon and
six wheelchair
events.
