MAKE
SURE YOU INCLUDE
THE NAMES OF ALL RELAY MEMBERS!
A team must declare
its entry to the meet by Thursday April 17, 2008.
All
that is needed to declare a team's entry is an email to
the meet director that states a school's intention to
participate. Thus, an email stating: "______ High School
from (city, state/province) will be sending its men's
and/or women's team(s)" will do.
We must adhere to this date. For those teams
responding by April 17th, actual entries
close on Monday April 29th. Please do not put meet
management in the position of having to tell you that
your entries have arrived too late. Updates
on seeding may be reported to the Meet Director no later
than Sunday May 4, 2008 at 5:00 PM.
Summary of Important Dates:
April 17th:
All schools must declare their
intention to participate by emailing the meet director.
This date has been determined by the NFHS.
April 29th:
For those schools meeting the April
17th deadline - all
entries are due.
Get them in PRIOR
to the Penn Relays.
May 4th at
5:00 PM: last chance to
update entries.
No teams will be allowed to declare their entry
into the meet after April 17th.
Also, we have had several individuals attempt to enter our meet, without representing their schools. Parents may not enter their sons or daughters. Only high school coaches may enter athletes into this meet. To be part of our meet an athlete must be a representative of his or her school. Please be advised to verify entries, I will call the Athletic Director of any school that is entering two or fewer athletes.
